Terms of Service

These terms form a binding agreement between us (the service provider) and you (the user or business entity). They govern your use of our payment systems, software, apps, and hardware (collectively, the “Services“).

These terms take effect as soon as you accept them or begin using any of our Services. By using our platform, you also agree to our Data Processing Addendum and Privacy Policy.

Authorized Users: Your staff or contractors permitted to use the tools.

Fees: All costs associated with using our Services.

Teya Account: Your unique digital profile used to manage your services.

Transaction: Any sale or movement of funds between you and a customer.

Accessing Services

To register, we require specific business details (name, address, tax ID) and occasionally personal info from owners for “Know Your Customer” (KYC) compliance.
Regulated Services: For payment tools, we may check your credit and financial history to assess risk.
Updates: You must notify us immediately if your business details change. Failure to do so may lead to account suspension.

Ending the Agreement (Termination)

Our Rights: We may suspend or close your account immediately if you break these rules, provide false info, pose a fraud risk, or are abusive to our staff.

Your Rights: You can cancel at any time by closing your account or sending written notice.

After Termination: You must stop using the services immediately and return any leased hardware within 7 days.

Changes & Digital Communication

We may update these terms, change fees, or modify services at any time. We will provide “reasonable notice” for changes. By continuing to use the service after an update, you accept the new terms. You agree to receive all legal notices electronically.

Rules of Use

You agree not to:
Reverse engineer or copy our software code.
Spread viruses or illegal/harmful content.
Use the services for any unauthorized or competitive commercial purposes.
Lease or sell access to our services to third parties.

6. Sharing Your Information

We may share data with:
Banking and payment networks (Visa/Mastercard).
Service providers (IT, security, and fraud prevention).
Credit agencies to verify identity and creditworthiness.
Other companies within our group to support your business.

Software & Support

Availability: We strive for constant uptime but are not liable for occasional outages or technical disruptions.

Updates: We may automatically update your software to improve security or features.

Licensing: We grant you a revocable “license” to use the tools; we retain full ownership of the intellectual property.

Intellectual Property & User Content

Our Property: We own all rights to our software, logos, and designs.

Your Content: You grant us a right to use any info or media you upload to help us provide or promote the services. You are responsible for ensuring your content is legal and non-offensive.

Fees and Payments

Billing: We can collect fees via credit card, direct debit, or by deducting them from your daily sales (settlements).

Recurring Costs: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

Taxes: You are responsible for calculating and paying all applicable taxes (like VAT) related to your sales.

Hardware Usage

If you use our card terminals or equipment:
You must use it only for its intended purpose and follow our instructions.
You are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of leased equipment.
You must keep the hardware in good condition and return it if the contract ends.
